Love is sweet, spicy and a little bit nuts, so in honor of St. Valentine, we’re celebrating all three in this healthy recipe for dessert.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine one egg white with 1/4 C. sifted powdered sugar and whisk until no lumps. Add in 1/2 t. cinnamon, 1/4 t. cayenne pepper, 1/4 t. salt, and 2 T. brown sugar and whisk to combine. Add 2 C. pecan halves and stir until thoroughly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Add coated nuts and spread around on pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned and crispy.
Remove from oven and let cool. Optional, toss with a handful of red m&ms.
