Ingredients:

1 lb. green beans, ends trimmed

Bring salted water to a boil over high heat. Add green beans and cook for about 30-60 seconds until just slightly tender. Remove from water and cool in an ice bath to stop the cooking. You can do this a few days in advance and store in the refridgerator.

Place green beans on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add blue cheese and honey and toss to combine. Place in hot oven for about 5-10 minutes until green beans are warm and cheese and honey have have melted into a creamy glaze.

Remove from oven. Place on serving platter and sprinkle with Pro-Chi Lentil Crunch.

This is a delciious green bean salad recipe that is reminiscent of green bean almondine but using crispy lentils instead of nuts and it has the comfort of a traditional French’s green bean casserole with a slight flair of sophistication. The blue cheese and honey make a light creamy glaze right in the sheet pan. This string bean recipe is one you won’t want to miss.
